Antelope Slot
- We purchased the upper and lower combined Antelope Canyon tour from Ken’s tour and had a great time with Ken’s tour at the lower Antelope in the morning. In the afternoon, we were scheduled to tour with the Antelope Slot Canyon Tours by Chief Tsosie. This Upper Antelope Scenic.
- Antelope Slot Canyon Tours by Chief Tsosie is located in Page Arizona, right next to Lake Powell, in the center of the Grand Circle. Navajo owned and operated by Chief Tsosie, you'll enjoy our personal tour of the breathtaking Antelope Canyon and other spectacular adventures! A special highlight of the tour will be the authentic beauty of.
- Antelope Canyon is an example of a geological curiosity known as a “ slot canyon.” As the name suggests, slot canyons are tiny canyons formed when water finds its way into a crack or fissure in the bedrock. Occurring largely in deserts or areas with low rainfall, a slot canyon is the result of thousands of years of weather extremes.
This was by far, one of the most memorable things I've ever done. We rented SUPs and dropped into Lake Powell. We paddled all the way to Antelope Canyon. You drag up your board on the sand, you can eat lunch, and then hike into the slot canyon. Some of the most amazing views I've ever seen. Shoes are recommended but we didn't even need them in. Upper Antelope is the original slot canyon where the great photo’s spread the word and which means you will have the authoritative photo’s to post on your Instagram and Facebook pages.; Lower Antelope is the more adventurous cave like slot canyon which gives you a more intimate experience and means that you will be able to more closely feel the red canyon walls while in the canyon.
